Dr. Aarti Kawlra

Dr. Aarti Kawlra has a PhD in Social Anthropology from IIT Delhi and has more than twenty years experience in crafts development and research.

Currently she is a Consultant with the TeNeT Group at IIT Madras on crafts entrepreneurship development via the emergent Internet kiosk in Tamil Nadu. Her areas of interest traverse design, technology and society and in particular the adoption and adaptation of ICT's among rural users across diverse cultural and linguistic settings in India
